Prestige X VitroLabs: a sales tool app informed by research
technology and the luxury saddle purchasing experience
description and contribution
Prestige X VitroLabs is an initiative researching the economic viability of luxury leather alternatives for the equestrian saddle market. Throughout my research, there was a common need voiced for more technology within this saddle purchasing lifecycle. Therefore, in addition the the planned saddle development, I created an app to meet the needs voiced by this consumer group. In particular, these consumers felt like they had limited access to sales associates, and lamented the inability to save information regarding previous saddle fittings as well as their horses’ performance in relation to saddle fit, and a lack of real-time customization visualizations to inform purchasing decisions.

brand identity
Prestige uses a stylized horse and rider brand mark, sometimes alone, but often accompanied by their logo font. The font itself is inspired by the German Sütterlin font (because at the time of inception, German saddles were known to be the best).
Prestige uses a dark navy color against a white background on all branding materials. Occasionally, black and grey will be mixed in as well.
