Apacceli: an equestrian inspired e-commerce fashion brand
luxury with an equestrian twist
description
Apacceli is a sustainable, luxury fashion brand inspired by equestrian designs. Apacceli was founded with sustainable, ethical fashion in mind. They do not use any hides, leathers, or furs. Apacceli also limits product production to reduce waste.
Most products are designed and produced in house in Atlanta, Georgia. The few items that are not completely produced in house are made with the help of other small businesses and independent artists. Any outsourcing is done with ethical standards and small batch production in mind. In this way, Apacceli is able to maintain quality control as well as ensure that everyone is paid fairly for their work.
my contribution
As a founder of Apacceli, I have been involved in every aspect of brand identity, marketing, and product development. Within a start up, you wear a lot of hats!

brand identity
Apacceli uses a grey logo mark shaped like an arrowhead, and with a horse bit bisecting it. The logo font is sans serif (avenir), and the bottoms of the “A”s are edited to reflect the arrowhead shape.
2019 design development
I created all prints and sketches seen on Adobe Illustrator. Furthermore, I also constructed many (but not all) of the sample garments shown.

scarf design development
I created all prints and sketches seen on Adobe Illustrator. Then, I worked with a silk printing company to develop these scarves.

photoshoots and videography
I plan each photoshoot to compliment my current collection. The process often begins with a mood board which will include inspirations, locations, hair and makeup, and overall mood. Once the photographer, make up artist, and models are hired, I then share the mood board with them for a cohesive look. My photographer and I also scout the chosen location (if outdoors), to find the best shots. I am always on site at the shoots, and am very involved with the photographer in directing the lighting and what I would like from the models. Below are some images from recent campaigns.
