Pop-Up Shop Design for Brand Launch at the World Equestrian Games
Pop-up shop design
Apacceli’s first pop-up shop was held at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, NC. WEG is similar to the soccer World Cup in that it is held every four years inbetween the Olympic Cycle. It is generally used as an Olympic qualifier for Show Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing. From my research on previous WEGs and their economic impact reports, it seemed that this would be the perfect avenue to launch as a large percentage of the 250,000 people projected to attend would be within the brand’s target demographic.
As an approved vendor at the Games, Apacceli was allocated a 10x10 foot space on “Vendor’s Row”. In order to attract attention and showcase Apacceli’s brand persona, I designed a pop up shop environment, and worked with Ready Set Atlanta to complete my visio

2020 Space Cowgirls
Instagram content collaboration
Apacceli’s SS20 collection was inspired by retro-futurism and “space cowgirls”. To help convey this feel, I worked with an illustrator (Logan Barone) to create custom content for Apacceli’s instagram. At the time, Hermes was also including many illustrated works on their instagram feed. The following gallery includes my initial concept boards, as well as subsequent iterations of work until the final piece was produced.

Woke X Bespoke
Innovation
Many Apacceli products feature a Woke x Bespoke option. These products are customizable in a variety of ways, without the need for exact measurements. Notably, consumers are able to pick their normal size, and then a body type that best describes them. Each size and body type correlation was created to address common fit issues. For example, a woman who usually needs to size up in tops would pick their normal size and “busty” as their body type. All Woke x Bespoke products are also made to order. This, in turn, creates a sustainable practice of supply meeting demand and the reduction of waste.
